
Prince Charles, second in line to the throne of Luxembourg, has been christened. Four month old Charles, first child of Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie, was baptised at the Abbey of St. Maurice in Clervaux in northern Luxembourg, surrounded by his closest relations.

[getty src=”1273491319″ width=”594″ height=”396″ tld=”co.uk”]The baby prince’s godparents are his paternal uncle, Prince Louis, and his maternal aunt, Countess Gaëlle de Lannoy. Louis arrived at the ceremony with his brother, Prince Felix, and sister-in-law, Princess Claire, along with their two children, Princess Amalia and Prince Liam.
Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, the baby’s paternal grandparents, arrived alongside their youngest son, Prince Sebastien, who was on crutches.

He will one day rule the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
