The Duke of Cambridge alongside the Duchess of Cambridge were in
attendance as waiting crowds attempted to get a glimpse of them.
Prince George arrived separately with his nanny a bit later.
Upon departing, William, Kate, George and their nanny left
together.
The young Prince’s Uncle Harry arrived alone at the palace and gave
the photographers a smile as his chauffeur drove him inside.
Others members of the family who were in attendance include Prince
and Princess Michael of Kent, The Duke of Gloucester, Princess
Beatrice of York as well as most of the senior royals.
The Queen’s annual pre-Christmas lunch is a royal tradition and
takes place every year. It is a chance for Her Majesty to mingle
with distant relations, who are not invited to join her at the
Sandringham Estate on Christmas Day.
This is one of the few occasions where all of the members of the
Queen’s family gather together. Another royal tradition is the most
senior members of the royals appearing alongside the monarch at the
traditional Christmas morning church service.
