Police searches at Royal Lodge have entered a second day.

Officers began looking through the royal property, formerly the home of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, on February 19 and continued their searches on the following day.

Searches at a property on the Sandringham estate have, however, concluded.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has now been released under investigation. He was arrested just after 8am on February 19 by police looking into allegations of misconduct in public office. He was seen leaving Aylsham police station just before 7pm in the back of a car. Thames Valley Police said that a man in his sixties had been released under investigatiion.

The King issued a statement following the arrest, saying that ”the law must take its course.”

Further details of the investigation haven’t been released but it’s understood to relate to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s time as a trade envoy.

King Charles later attended an event at London Fashion Week where he faced shouted questions from reporters about his younger brother. As expected, he made no response.
