
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been arrested.
The former prince was detained on Thursday morning.
He has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
It is understood that he is now in police custody.
It’s believed that inquiries are ongoing into whether Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor shared sensitive information with Jeffrey Epstein. It’s believed that the information relates to the time that Mr Mountbatten-Windsor was a trade envoy for the UK.
Mr Mountbatten Windsor has always denied any wrongdoing.
A number of police cars arrived on the morning of February 19 at the property on the Sandringham estate that Andrew moved to just a few weeks ago.
It’s understood that Thames Valley police were the force that arrived.
Around 8am on February 19, six unmarked police cars and eight plain clothes officers arrived at Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate.
Thames Valley Police confirmed that searches were being carried out at a property in Berkshire.
