King Charles celebrates Christmas with the Royal Family at Sandringham

The Royal Family was greeted by large crowds at Sandringham as they celebrated Christmas.

King Charles and Queen Camilla led the family on the walk to the church of St. Mary Magdalene for morning service on Christmas Day.

The Prince and Princess of Wales joined them along with their three children – Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9 and six year old Prince Louis.

Not far behind were Prince William’s cousins, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall and their families.

The Princess Royal and Sir Tim Laurence walked with the Duke of Edinburgh and his son, James, Earl of Wessex while the Duchess of Edinburgh strolled to the service with her daughter, Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor.

There was also a rare glimpse of The King’s cousins, the Earl of Snowdon and Lady Sarah Chatto who attended with their families.

Princess Beatrice was a late addition to the party with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and her stepson, Wolf. The family had planned to celebrate Christmas in Italy but the princess, who is in the later stages of her second pregnancy, has been advised not to travel long distances by her doctors.
