Kensington Palace has announced that the Duke of Cambridge will visit the Isle of Man on Wednesday 6th June for a day of events.
Among the engagements he will undertake next week, Prince William will visit the Isle of Man TT and will attend a reception held for guests from across the island.
The annual Isle of Man TT is a motorbike event run that has been running on the island since its inaugural race in 1907. It is often dubbed as being one of the most dangerous racing events in the world.
Whilst there, the Duke will watch the final stages of the TT Supersport Race 2 before meeting support staff and volunteers working at the event.
Prince William is known to be a fan of motorbikes so will no doubt enjoy this engagement.
Later in the day, the second-in-line to the throne will attend a reception in the Government House tent.
Here he will meet with guests from across the Isle of Man including civic dignitaries and local business people.
Also while on the island, he will visit the Joey Dunlop Foundation – a charity which creates specialist accommodation with the aim of making the Isle of Man open for people with disabilities.
The charity was set up in 2001 and provides holiday apartments for people with disabilities.
Accommodation is in high demand and was fully booked last year during the summer months. The charity is now hoping to expand.
