The Duke and Duchess of Sussex move to Windsor leaving behind Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have completed their move to Windsor, leaving behind their lives at Kensington Palace.

According to ITV News, Harry & Meghan have now moved into Frogmore Cottage in the grounds of Windsor Castle ahead of the birth of their first child later this month.

Major refurbishments of the property have been taking place over the past few months, with the royal couple hoping to bring up their child in the picturesque county of Berkshire.

Meghan and Harry had been given permission to live in the historic Frogmore Cottage by The Queen.

The Sussexes have been living at Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace since announcing their engagement in November 2017.

Prior to the renovations, Frogmore Cottage itself was used by staff as offices.

The two storey cottage, which also features a parapet, was built in the 19th century and is a Grade II listed building. Sitting in Windsor Home Park, it was once known as Double Garden Cottage, and it is surrounded by lawns.

Not only have Harry and Meghan departed Kensington Palace physically, but they also now have a new team who are based from Buckingham Palace.

The Sussex Family’s divorce from Kensington Palace means that the couple can focus on their own ventures.
