The Queen chose an outfit by her wedding dress designer as she welcomed the President of France to Windsor Castle for an historic State Visit.
Her Majesty wore a bright green dress by Anna Valentine who created both outfits worn on the day Queen Camilla married King Charles in Windsor.
Queen Camilla’s striking outfit choice
The State Visit outfit was a classic cut gown with three quarter length sleeves and a mid length skirt.
It was paired with a wide brimmed hat by Philip Treacy in a matching shade of green.
Philip Treacy also created The Queen’s wedding headwear – a large cream hat worn for the civil ceremony on the morning of April 9 2005 and a spray of gold worn at the blessing that followed at St. George’s Chapel.

The French President and his wife had been met on their arrival at RAF Northolt by the Prince and Princess of Wales who accompanied them on the short car journey to Home Park in Windsor where the official ceremonies began.
Carriage procession through Windsor for Queen Camilla
After the national anthems were played, The King and President Macron took their seats in the 1902 State Landau for a carriage procession through Windsor.
Queen Camilla and Mrs Macron followed in the Semi-State Landau with the Prince and Princess of Wales in an Ascot Landau behind them.
