Prince George turns 11 and his mum marks the moment with special portrait

Prince George is celebrating his 11th birthday and there’s a very grown up portrait to mark the moment.

The second in line to the throne is shown in a black and white image taken by his mum, the Princess of Wales.

George, wearing a suit and shirt, is seen smiling in the photo which was taken at Windsor earlier this month.

The picture was shared on social media with a simple message reading ”Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today!”

The prince will spend his special day privately with his parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and his siblings, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6. The three are now on summer holidays from school.

George Alexander Louis was born on July 22nd 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington. He was third in line to the throne at birth and became second in line on September 8th 2022, on the accession of his grandfather as King Charles III.
