Kate’s Christmas concert confirmed for 2025

The Princess of Wales meets wellwishers after Christmas Day service at Sandringham.

We have another favourite royal event confirmed for 2025 with the Princess of Wales set to host her festive celebration once more.

The Royal Foundation’s 2024 annual report confirmed that the Princess of Wales will be hosting her annual Christmas Carol service at Westminster Abbey come December.

The 2024 service was broadcast on ITV1 on Christmas Eve, garnering an audience of over 3,000,000 across the United Kingdom and a further reach of 50,000,000 on social media.

Kate first hosted the event in 2021 at Westminster Abbey, to help bring people together during the pandemic. The event welcomes all faiths and has quickly become a holiday staple in the UK. In its first year, the Princess of Wales went viral when she gave a surprise piano performance.

The annual report also covered several major events in 2024. Prince William’s Homewards project grew substantially in its second year, with each of the six bases creating a localised plan to help tackle homelessness.

Globally, the two-part documentary Prince William: We Can End Homelessness aired on Disney+ in November 2024, bringing the Homewards project to the world stage.

The Centre for Early Childhood released a major business case highlighting the importance of the early years in the economy, including a potential for £45.5 billion to be generated.
