The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have released a statement in which they express their sadness at the death of socialite and reality star, Tara Palmer-Tomkinson.
In a statement, the couple said they were “deeply saddened and our thoughts are so much with the family”.
Ms Palmer-Tomkinson, who died today at the age of 45, was a friend of the Royal Family and attended the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Prince Charles was also her godfather.
She was diagnosed with a brain tumour last January after returning from a skiing trip, and was found dead early on Wednesday morning at her South Kensington home.
At this moment in time, her death is being treated by police as unexplained.
