In the 1960s, the Royal Family spent the holidays at Windsor because The Queen’s children were young. In 1988, The Queen started to transition the holiday affair to Sandringham House in Norfolk, England instead of Windsor. Now, the family typically spends the Easter holiday on the Windsor grounds.
