The Queen reveals she keeps her BAFTA on top of her television

<![CDATA[The Queen has revealed her BAFTA takes a special place on top of her television.
As she welcomed stars from the world of dramatic arts to Buckingham Palace on Monday evening, the 87-year-old monarch explained to Steve McQueen where her honorary award is kept.
"I couldn't help looking at mine which I keep on my, above the television," she told the 12 Years a Slave director, as they discussed Sunday's BAFTA award ceremony.
QueenStanding next to the director, actress Jane Horrocks asked what she had received the prestigious award for, which the Queen replied, joking: “Can you not guess? I’ve only done one thing!”.
In April 2013, Her Majesty was awarded the honouring BAFTA for her “outstanding” patronage of the organisation and her lifetime support of British film and television.
On Monday evening, The Queen, joined by the Duchess of Cambridge, welcomed 250 guests to Buckingham Palace to celebrate the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, of which the monarch is patron.
A host of glamourous stars including Dame Helen Mirren, Joan Collins and Uma Thurman attended the reception held at the London Palace.
Dame Helen was meeting The Queen and the Duchess of Cambridge just a day after being presented with the Fellowship Award at Sunday evening’s BAFTAs by Prince William.
As she met the Duchess, the actress joked about the Prince giving her the prestigious prize. “Your husband called me granny last night, to which Kate, giggling, replied “I know.”
