William and Kate share unseen photos from family album and one catches Princess Anne off guard

King Charles talks to Prince William while Princess Anne looks on

The Prince and Princess of Wales have shared some of their unseen photos from the year just gone and one of them features Princess Anne in an off guard moment.

William and Kate rounded off 2025 with their own album of images and the summer was marked with a snap from Trooping the Colour which the Princess Royal clearly didn’t expect to be taken.

Prince William is seen laughing with King Charles while Princess Anne is in the middle of organising something and is caught mid sentence.

It’s one of a number of candid shots that tell the story of a year that saw a return to the public spotlight for the Princess of Wales.

One of the sweetest images shows Kate looking through a pair of binoculars made from toilet roll insides and clearly loving the experience.

There’s also a touching photo of Prince George with Prince William talking to veterans at events marking the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

The Prince and Princess of Wales have been giving behind the scenes glimpses through the year and there was another familiar shot of William at Windsor, preparing for an investiture.

And in a throwback to summer, there was another angle of the Princess of Wales presenting the trophies at Wimbledon with Kate seen chatting to the new Men’s Singles champion.

The round up comes at the end of a busy December for the Wales family with Princess Charlotte playing a duet with the Princess of Wales at the Together at Christmas concert.

Prince George was also seen helping his dad, William, prepare Christmas dinner at The Passage in the run up to the festive season.

The Wales family are now enjoying quiet time during the school holidays before 2026 starts. It promises to be a year of change for them as Prince George gets ready to go to senior school and William and Kate take further leading roles at major events including State Visits.
