The Royal Family celebrates Pride with the help of Chappell Roan

The Royal Family has taken to social media to celebrate Pride.

Ahead of the London Pride parade, the official royal accounts wished everyone ”Happy Pride!” and added a rainbow emoji.

And they got some help from Chappell Roan as the band outside Buckingham Palace marked Pride by playing the hit song Pink Pony Club.

The message was shared just hours before London Pride got under way. Around one million people were expected to take part in the UK’s biggest LGBTQ+ event.

The parade begins in Hyde Park and will pass Buckingham Palace as it continues through Green Park and Piccadilly Circus before ending in Westminster.
