In partnership with Discover Newmarket, Royal Central is delighted to offer our readers the chance to visit one of The King’s racing stables in the global headquarters of horse racing – Newmarket.
On Tuesday, May 2, you and a guest could visit the yard of William Haggas – one of King Charles and Queen Camilla’s racehorse trainers.
The six time Classic-winning trainer is one of the most respected racing personalities in the world, and trained for the late Queen Elizabeth II for a number of years.
Mr Haggas will be on hand to guide you around his stables, before taking you to Newmarket’s famous training grounds to watch horses complete their morning exercise.
Also included in the prize, which is worth £330, is a visit to the National Stud which includes a Stallion Parade featuring the mighty Stradivarius.
As well as brunch and bubbles, the tour concludes with a visit to the National Horseracing Museum which is located on the former site of King Charles II’s Palace and Stables.
