Prince Charles makes first public appearance since Oprah interview

The Prince of Wale has made his first public appearance since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s interview with Oprah Winfrey was broadcast on CBS and ITV.

Prince Charles was visiting Jesus House Church in North London where an NHS pop-up vaccination centre is currently based.

The heir to the throne visited the centre to thank the staff and volunteers who are giving up their time to vaccinate the nation.

A journalist from Sky News was also at the centre and asked the 72-year-old royal what he thought about the interview.

Charles declined to reply and according to Sky was “ushered our of the building.”

During his interview with Oprah, Harry revealed that his relationship with his father has become strained.

The Duke of Sussex said that he spoke to Prince Charles twice before publicly announcing that he was to step back as a working royal.

He said that was “before his father stopped taking his calls.”

On repairing his relationship with his father, Harry said: “There is a lot to work though there – I feel really let down.

“He’s been through something similar. He knows what pain feels like and Archie is his grandson.

“I will always love him but there is a lot of hurt that has happened.”
