Prince George delighted spectators at the Royal International Air Tattoo today when he made a surprise appearance with his parents, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who were scheduled to be there.
After making a bit of a fuss over the whole ordeal, Prince George was given a pair of noise cancelling headphones which calmed the toddler right down.
Taking after his father and uncle Prince Harry’s love of flying, Prince George got a good look around the cockpits of many aircrafts.
This was the first official engagement in the United Kingdom for the three-year-old Prince George.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were very hands on as the threesome toured a Red Arrow Hawk and a Royal Air Force squirrel helicopter at the Air Tattoo. The squirrel helicopter being the same one that Prince William trained with in 2009 at RAF Shawbury.

Taking after his mother’s place as a style icon, Prince George was dressed in a classic white polo shirt, navy blue shorts with coordinating blue sandals. A look that many mothers are now out searching to copy. The Duchess rewore a blue Stella McCartney dress and Smythe blazer.
Donned as a “fantastic family-orientated event” by Kensington Palace, the Royal International Air Tattoo is the largest military air show in the world. Last year the show featured 19 different nations showing off 247 aircrafts.
Over 800 Air Cadets were attendance, some of which William and Kate took the time to speak with. The Air Tattoo is strongly linked to the Air Cadets and will host official celebrations in honour of the cadets 75th anniversary.
