Mischievous Prince Louis seen in new birthday photos

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released four new photographs of Prince Louis as he celebrates his fourth birthday.

The images were taken by the Duchess on a beach in Norfolk earlier this month.

The young royal is seen running on the beach, and his similarities to his maternal grandfather, Michael Middleton, are uncanny.

The Duchess of Cambridge regularly gets behind the lens to take photos of her children, and more often than not, the images released for their birthdays are taken by Catherine. She is a keen photographer and has brought her good eye into her royal work, where she has even photographed Holocaust survivors for an exhibit marking 75 years since its end.

The Prince hasn’t joined his parents alongside his siblings at some of the latest royal events, including the memorial service for the late Prince Philip. He has, however, attended a few events alongside his family in his four years. As he gets older, we can expect to see him appearing at more events. Louis should be on the balcony for Trooping of the Colour this year and possibly other Platinum Jubilee events in June.

Louis currently attends Willcocks Nursery School in London and is expected to join his older siblings, Prince George, 9, and Princess Charlotte, 6, in due course at St Thomas’s Battersea. He is fifth in the line of succession to the British throne.
