Buckingham Palace has released a new photograph to mark the 99th birthday of the Duke of Edinburgh.

The photo was taken in the quadrangle of Windsor Castle at the beginning of June.
The Queen and Prince Philip have been isolating in Windsor since March due to the ongoing public health emergency.
This is the first time the Duke has been pictured since he left hospital in December 2019.
Prince Philip looks in remarkable health in the picture as he stands unaided next to his wife of 73 years.
The Queen is wearing a yellow dress, designed by her stylist and close friend Angela Kelly, alongside the Cullinan V diamond brooch.
The Duke is wearing a blazer and his Household Division tie.
