The Countess of Wessex is the next Royal to join in the selfie craze

<![CDATA[We've had the Royal photo bomb craze, now the Royal selfie looks set to sweep the nation and The Countess of Wessex won't be one to miss out on the action as she attended the Falmouth to Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Regatta.
Sophie was at the finishing line to meet and greet the sailors as they completed their journey and shocked onlookers by agreeing to a selfie with Leading Sea Cadet Morgan Smith.

The regatta sees most of its line up of vessels come from ASTO, the UK’s Sail Training umbrella organisation and it sees vessels from all over the British Isles taking part including Scotland, Wales, East Anglia and the South. What makes this years contest even more unique is that at least half of the trainees on board will be under the age of 25.
In an unusual solo engagement for The Countess of Wessex, who usually accompanies Prince Edward on joint engagements, she spent a considerable amount of time with the crews of many of the ships and also found the time to be a part of some great photos, including the selfie.
This year’s regatta is the first time that a Tall Ships Race has started and finished in a UK port and until the 9th September the ships will be moored between Greenwich and Woolwich.
So we can assume that the Royal selfie is the next craze that will have people talking. As ‘Sophie’s Selfie’ hits the headlines it makes me wonder just which Royal will be the next to step up and take a selfie, one can only dream that it will be Her Majesty!
