Princess Eugenie of York and Jack Brooksbank are getting married on 12th October at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
Although we know there will be many members of the Royal Family in attendance, can we expect an appearance by many A-List celebrities?
The answer is yes. Jack Brooksbank has close connections to a few Hollywood stars including George Clooney, so it’s likely there will definitely be a few familiar faces.
Princess Eugenie, who is ninth in line to the throne, also has many famous friends like her husband-to-be. So, which famous faces should we look out for on their big day?
Elton John
The singer and his husband David Furnish are no stranger to royal events. Elton attended the wedding of Princess Eugenie’s parents in 1986, as well as the more recent weddings of the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex.
Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice have attended Elton’s society balls in the past too, so it is expected he will have received an invite.
George and Amal Clooney
The Hollywood actor and his wife have often been spotted at royal events. Earlier this year they both attended the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
It’s highly likely they will be at the wedding due to Jack Brooksbank being a brand ambassador for Casamigos Tequila, the company George Clooney co-created. He sold the company earlier this year for £79m.
Robbie Williams and Aya Field
The recently announced X-Factor judges have been good friends with Princess Eugenie and her sister, Princess Beatrice for many years.
It is rumoured that Robbie and Aya’s daughter, Theodora Rose, is one of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s flower girls in the ceremony. If true, it’s very likely her parents will also be in attendance.
Eddie Redmayne
The Oscar winning actor and his wife Hannah are good friends of Princess Eugenie. The couple used to hang out with her whilst she was living and working in New York.
Eddie Redmayne also studied and played rugby with the Duke of Cambridge at Eton. The actor has been to Windsor Castle before where he was awarded an OBE by The Queen for services to drama.
David and Victoria Beckham
The Beckhams are no strangers to a royal wedding as both David and Victoria attended the marriages of the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex.
The couple has also met The Queen on numerous occasions, including when they collected their OBEs.
Their daughter, Harper, celebrated her sixth birthday at Buckingham Palace where the Duchess of York organised a tea party for her.
Ellie Goulding
The singer has been a friend of Princess Eugenie for many years, and they holidayed together in Jordan earlier this year.
Ellie Goulding performed at the Duke of Cambridge’s wedding reception, so it’s possible she will do the same at the wedding of Princess Eugenie if she does attend.
James Blunt
The singer and his wife, Sofia Wellesley are often seen out with Princess Eugenie. Sofia’s parents are Lord and Lady John Henry Wellesley, so that is how James Blunt and Sofia got to know the royals.
The couple also attended the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding earlier this year so it wouldn’t be a surprise if they received an invite to this one too!
Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas
It’s likely the Duke of Sussex’s ex-girlfriends will be at the wedding, too, due to them being good friends with Princess Eugenie. Chelsy and Cressida have also remained friends with the Duke, and both attended his wedding to Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, earlier this year.
We’ll have to wait until the big day on 12th October to find out which celebrities will be attending the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank.
