Princess Beatrice lands in LA for work

Princess Beatrice has travelled over to Los Angeles for work.

The eldest daughter of Prince Andrew arrived in the city Friday afternoon where she ordered an Uber, just like the rest of us. TMZ caught the arrival on camera.

The gate agent was helpful to the princess as he carried her bag to the car and loaded it. For anyone else who has been confused by LAX, Beatrice also had her issues and had to head to another terminal to catch the Uber.

Beatrice shook the gate agent’s hand and thanked him as she opened her own door to get in. The Uber driver seemed unsure of who his famous fare was.

Princess Beatrice works for the software company Afiniti, where her title on LinkedIn is listed as Vice President, Partnerships & Strategy which she started at in November 2016.

Afiniti is the “world’s leading applied artificial intelligence and advanced analytics provider.”

She also co-founded the Big Change in June 2010 which she still runs.

Together with Holly and Sam Branson, Sam Richardson, Phil Nevin, and Isabella Branson, the group started the social impact accelerator as a way to help support ideas that will aid young people to thrive in life.

Despite attempts by her father, Princess Beatrice and her sister, Princess Eugenie are not full-time working royals. While they do have charities that they support and are patron of, they are not supported by the tax-payer to cover these events.

Prince Charles has a vision for a slimmed down monarchy when he is King so the decision was made that the York sisters would not be given substantial roles.

They have often been portrayed as leeches of the monarchy, but both sisters hold full-time jobs. Beatrice at Afiniti and Eugenie as an associate director for the Hauser & Wirth art gallery in London.
