Queen Rania took to her social media channels to comment on the gathering: “A lovely afternoon with Her Majesty Queen Consort Camilla and Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.”

Queen Rania and Crown Princess Mary are due to attend a reception at Buckingham Palace on 29 November that will be hosted by Queen Camilla. The reception aims to raise awareness against women and girls as part of the United Nations programme 16 days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. Queen Mathilde of the Belgians will also join the royal ladies at Buckingham Palace alongside victims of violence against women and girls, and their families. Charities that work to help these people will also be in attendance.
