What illness? The Queen has travelled to Scotland where she is kicking off Holyrood Week only a few days after falling ill.
Last Thursday, Her Majesty had to cancel her engagement at St Paul’s Cathedral after not feeling well, but faster them someone half her age, she is back at work again.
Arriving in the sunny weather with a dress to coloured matched to the sun, The Queen was welcomed by Frank Ross, Edinburgh’s Lord Provost and handed keys to the city.
Upon her arrival, The Queen is symbolically offered the keys to the city by the Lord Provost, she then returns them to him to be protected by Edinburgh’s elected officials to which she said: “I return these keys, being perfectly convinced that they cannot be placed in better hands than those of the Lord Provost and Councillors of my good City of Edinburgh”.

A guard of honour greeted Queen Elizabeth, formed by Balaklava Company, The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, 5th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland.
The Highlanders, 4th Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Scotland played the pipes and drums with music by the Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland.
Showing no signs of slowing down, Her Majesty will take part in a variety of audiences, a garden party, a military parade in Leuchars, Fife, an investiture and the Order of the Thistle service at Edinburgh’s St Giles’ Cathedral which is held each year.
It has also been reported by The Sun, that The Queen is in need of knee surgery but is toughing it out.
“She was talking to friends at the Chelsea Flower Show and said her knees were playing up,” the source said
“But she is reluctant to have an op due to the time it would take to recover.
The royal insider said Queen Elizabeth is being ‘incredibly brave’ but she doesn’t want to ’cause any fuss’.
“People from her and Philip’s generation battle through problems and carry on,” they added.
