Prince Harry sends first tweet

<![CDATA[Prince Harry has become the latest member of the royal family to connect with the public via Twitter.
The prince sent a message on the micro-blogging website from London's BT Tower on Thursday to coincide with tickets going on sale for the Invictus Games, which he is heavily involved with.
The international competition, launched by Harry in March this year, organises special sporting events for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women.

The 4th in line to the throne tweeted from the Invictus Games account, the prince said: “Hope everyone will get behind #invictusgames. Great opportunity to support and thank the men and women who have given so much. Harry.”
Although he is yet to create his own personal Twitter account, Harry joins a number of royals who use Twitter to communicate with the public. Prince Andrew is on Twitter under the handle @thedukeofyork and his daughter, Princess Beatrice is on as @Yorkiebea.

Speaking about the Invictus Games, Harry said “The Invictus Games this September will give these inspirational people the opportunity to showcase their talent and in doing so, prove that anything is really possible.”
He added “I hope everyone will show their admiration by snapping up tickets when they go on sale tomorrow morning and cheering from the side lines.”
The Invictus Games will take place in later this year in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the park built for the 2012 Olympic Games. Tickets go on sale on Friday 16 May.
