Prince Harry finishes trip to Copenhagen

If you blinked, you might have missed it, but Prince Harry has finished his two-day trip to Copenhagen, Denmark.

After a successful first day, Prince Harry started his second day off at a Danish Bakery.

He was at the bakery for the ‘One of Us’ Campaign, where he spoke of the dangers of social media, saying:

“People are spending far too much time online and it’s like a mental running machine that they can’t get off.

“You wouldn’t put your body through such a workout.

“I’m the last person to say ban it but people are suffering from mental fatigue and getting burnt out. We all need to talk to each other more.”

Later in the day, the prince visited some old friends; the Danish Invictus Team who he only saw last month in Toronto. Accompanying them was Prince Joachim, who will be Acting Regent of Denmark as of today.

Harry had a private meeting with the parents of 21-year-old Morten Krogh Jensen, whose body was flown back on the same aircraft as Prince Harry when he returned from Afghanistan. Harry has previously spoken of the flight and how it inspired him to make a difference in the lives of servicemen and women.

Prince Joachim spoke about the meeting afterwards; he said: “This [the soldier’s death] was an eye-opener for Prince Harry.

“This was a motivating factor for him, to start pushing, to establish the Invictus Games. This is the culmination of that.”

Adding on, he said: “You’ve got to look at it from a very high perspective and say ‘well, it was not in vain after all’.

“This has benefited thousands over the last nine years.”

Harry also met Maurice Manuel of the Danish Invictus Team who he was photographed kissing the top of his head while awarding him a gold medal in Toronto. Joking around, Prince Harry commented how his ” lips have never recovered.”

On 31 October, Prince Harry will be travelling to Chicago to attend the Obama Foundation Summit.

OK. What was the point of this trip?

Excellent question. It’s a mystery. Maybe because he likes the pastries in that cafe ?

Another useless trip. Harry needs to come out of the closet. I’ll bet he hit all the Gay clubs in Copenhagen. That’s probably why he was there in the first place.
