Prince Harry who is Patron of WellChild attended the annual WellChild Awards at the London Hilton on Monday evening.
At the event The Prince recognised the courage of seriously ill children and their families and thanked those who care for and support them.
Harry attended a pre-ceremony reception where will meet the winners of each award category and members of their families.
He then went on to attend the ceremony at which he presented the Award for Most Inspirational Child (aged 3-6) and delivered a short speech.
