Jennifer Lawrence jokes about Prince Harry marrying Meghan: “You’ve got to deal with one of us now.”

Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence spoke about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on the red carpet at the London premiere of her new film Red Sparrow.

When asked if she had any advice for Prince Harry on “dealing with” Meghan, Lawrence quipped, “You’ve got to deal with one of us now. How about that?”

Lawrence followed up with, “I don’t know, I mean if she’s anything like me she’s always right.”

Lawrence is the latest Hollywood actress who’s been asked to comment on Meghan Markle’s romance with the prince.

Earlier this month, Markle’s friend Priyanka Chopra told Harper’s Bazaar Arabia that “She’s an icon, truly, that girls can look up to, that women can look up to. She’s normal, she’s sweet, she’s nice, she thinks about the world, wants to change it and this was even before any of this happened.”

Chopra also said that “Meghan being a part of the royal family is a big step in the direction of so many things; of women, of feminism, of diversity, of race, of the monarchy versus everyone else. It’s a beautiful step in the right direction.”

Meghan announced at the time of her engagement that she would be giving up her acting career and transitioning into a new role that put an emphasis on charity work.

She was best known for her role on Suits, but after her relationship with Prince Harry came to light, it was revealed in The Sun that she’d been considered for a role in an upcoming James Bond movie playing the “Bond girl.”

“Meghan fits the role of a Bond girl perfectly. She’s glamorous and sexy and a good actress,” a source said to The Sun. “The role more recently has gone to actresses deemed to be rising stars, and Meghan certainly was seen as that before her relationship with Harry became public.”

Meghan will marry Prince Harry on 19 May at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
