All bets are on for Prince Harry engagement

The International betting firm, Betway has the odds that Prince Harry will put a ring on Meghan Markle’s finger by the end of 2017.

The US Actress was recently seen with an ‘H’ gold ring, sending the chances that Harry asks her to marry him into the evens; the lowest they have been since it was first discovered that the pair were dating in October 2016.

The other popular betting options on the couple have also decreased. Chances they get married this year are 10/1 and with the same odds that Miss Markle will be pregnant by the end of 2017.

Betway’s Alan Alger said: “Close observers of Prince Harry’s movements are sure that Meghan Markle has more or less moved into the Kensington Palace cottage, and the odds suggest Harry is closer than ever to asking for her hand in marriage.

“We are now evens for Harry to pop the question, and then further down the line it’s 10/1 they get married, and the same price for Markle to be expecting a baby by the end of the year.”

Prince Harry is not the only member of the family expected to announce an engagement soon. His cousin, the daughter of Prince Andrew, Princess Eugenie has been rumoured to announce her engagement to her long-time boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank.

Miss Markle has spent a substantial period of time in London since Christmas, staying with Prince Harry at his cottage on the grounds at Kensington Palace.

Prince Harry has been busy promoting the Heads Together campaign he and the Duke and Duchess of Cambrige started but sources close to the couple have said that every free moment that Harry and Meghan have are spent in each others company.

Should Princess Eugenie also marry Mr Brooksbank, they will be moving to Kensington Palace, breathing more life into the London base as the younger generation of Royals starts their own families.
