Victoria Beckham has confirmed she and her husband David have received an invitation to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding which takes place next month.
The celebrity couple will be among hundreds of guests in the grounds of Windsor Castle to help celebrate Prince Harry and Ms Markle’s special day.
During an interview on The Late Late Show, host James Corden teased the answer out of Victoria Beckham. When Corden asked if she will be attending the event of the year, she replied: “I, uh, I, I don’t know…”
James Corden further encouraged her to answer by jokingly saying: “She’s totally going.”
Victoria replied by admitting she was invited, adding: “England is so excited. It is so great, isn’t it? They look so happy.”
Ex-Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, 43, is now better known as a fashion designer. She has her own clothing line which launched in 2008 and has frequently collaborated with high-profile celebrities.
Rumours have done the rounds suggesting she is designing the arguably most highly-anticipated part of the day: Meghan Markle’s wedding dress.
However, Victoria shut down these rumours on her The Late Late Show appearance by telling James Corden: “Sadly, I’m not, but I’m sure she’ll look incredible.
There are many speculations surrounding who is designing Ms Markle’s gown, but for now, we’ll have to wait a little longer to find out who has the honour of dressing the bride-to-be.
Although the Beckhams are among the lucky few to receive an invite, it was announced earlier this week that political figures would not be invited. This includes Prime Minister Theresa May, former US President and First Lady, Barack and Michelle Obama, and President Donald Trump.
Alongside the celebrity guests, there will be an array of members of the public. This includes a number of young people that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have chosen to join them in Windsor on 19th May to celebrate the event.
