Suits cast sends congratulations to former co-star, Duchess of Sussex on baby announcement

The Duchess of Sussex’s former Suits co-stars and the USA Network have sent their congratulations to Meghan and Harry following the couple’s announcement on Monday that the Duchess was expecting their first child in the spring of 2019.

In a press release released by the USA Network, they said, “USA Network is pleased to congratulate former Suits star Meghan Markle on her big news!

“Kensington Palace announced on Monday morning that Prince Harry and Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are expecting a child in the spring!

“The Royal Wedding took place this past May, and many of the Suits cast — including Gabriel Macht, Gina Torres, Patrick J. Adams, Sarah Rafferty, and Rick Hoffman — attended the wedding of the year to support their co-star.”

They also said on the show’s official Twitter handle, “On behalf of the entire #Suits family, we are sending love and congratulations to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, on their pregnancy.”

Any individual congratulations from Meghan’s co-stars have not been made public. When and if they are, they will be added here.

Kensington Palace announced on Monday morning that the Duchess of Sussex was expecting her first child. In the press release, Kensington Palace stated, “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.

“Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”

The royal parents-to-be are currently on a 16-day autumn tour to Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, and Tonga.
