With allegations and accusations swirling around the whirlwind royal engagement that has taken the world by storm, the truth behind the opinions of the bride-to-be’s family continues to go unconfirmed in many circles. Most notably, the public had been led to believe that an incredible family feud is at work between Miss Meghan Markle, her family, and even her esteemed fiancé.
In a recent discovery, it has been revealed that Miss Markle’s father, Thomas Markle, whom Prince Harry has yet to meet in person has reportedly praised the engagement of his daughter by saying, “I think it’s wonderful, I’m very delighted.”
According to sources, he went on to show his approval for the ‘good match.’ In a video by The Sun, Mr Markle said, “I love my daughter very much. Harry’s a gentleman.”
These revelations come on the heels of numerous reports that Miss Markle’s family held opinions in contrast to those of Miss Markle and the Royal Family. Just shortly after the Christmas season, Prince Harry’s comments in regards to Miss Markle having ‘the family she never had’ spurred supposedly angered comments from Meghan’s older half-sister.
The sister, Samantha Markle, has since insisted, “My response was very positive verbatim and taken far out of context….There was never slamming, it was never negative.”
Reports that Thomas Markle will not be walking Miss Meghan Markle down the aisle on the day of her wedding have also been refuted, shedding light on what appears to be a case of misconstrued facts. It was also claimed previously by Thomas Markle, Jr., that his father ‘will be extremely hurt’ by Prince Harry’s comments. Yet questions remain in light of Mr Markle’s praise for his future son-in-law.
The wedding of His Royal Highness Prince Harry and Miss Meghan Markle is scheduled for 19 May 2018 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.
Are you kidding me?
The guy NEVER met Harry.
Yet, he said thier a good match and he’s a Gentleman.
How does Tom Markle know that? Devine intervention?
