The creator of the USA Network’s hit tv series Suits has addressed the rumours involving the Duchess of Sussex – a former star of the show – returning for its conclusion.
Rumours have been circling that Aaron Korsh offered the Duchess millions of USD to the charity of her choice for her to return for one final episode.
Korsh has addressed the murmurs of Her Royal Highness returning to Suits to CNN, “As of this minute I don’t know which of our old original cast will be back and which won’t because we’re so early in the season.
“I can tell you that those things in the papers, I have no idea what they’re talking about.”
He continued by directing addressing if he had offered Meghan millions to return, “I have not arranged for millions of dollars to be donated to anything on behalf of anyone so that I can tell you, but as far as the original people coming back including Jessica we’re so early in the season that we haven’t formulated what we want to do, so we can’t reach out to people before we know what we want to do.”
Jessica refers to Jessica Pearson who starred in the show for several seasons. She will now star in a spinoff of Suits called Pearson.
According to the Scottish Sun, sources close to the Duchess of Sussex have said she will not return as she will be “too busy as a new mum.”
The Duchess of Sussex, then known as Meghan Markle, left the show at the end of the seventh season. Her final episodes aired just a few weeks before she married Prince Harry at St George’s Chapel on 19 May 2018. Several of her castmates from the show attended the nuptials.
Suits is currently airing its eighth season, with the second half starting to air in the United States on 23 January. It was renewed for a short ten-episode final season.
