“A confidential and discreet approach is paramount” requirement of the chosen candidate who will provide PA support to the Communications Secretary and Press Secretary. The job description posted on Wednesday at the Prince of Wales’ website lists other qualifications such as IT skills, secretarial experience, and a minimum of 55 wpm accurate typing.
For two days a week, on Thursdays and Fridays, this person will manage a complex diary, provide support in the distribution of the Annual Review, and coordinate logistics for internal and external visits, among other duties.
Deadline for applications is May 17. Interviews will begin on May 24.
Although the PA position is the only vacancy currently found on the Prince of Wales’ website, other positions are currently vacant within The Royal Household. Positions include Sous Chef, HR Systems Manager, and Research and Planning Officer, among other jobs based in London and Windsor.
Meanwhile, another position might soon become available in light of today’s announcement that Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, principal private secretary to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, is switching to one day a week part-time work starting in September.
