The Prince of Wales opened an event highlighting Stroud’s talent for designing and creation.
Charles was at the Stroud Festival of Manufacturing and Engineering at the FESTOMANE 2014: Creation and Innovation Revealed exhibition on Monday.
The Prince met stallholders from over thirty local companies and organisations from the local engineering and manufacturing region.
Charles also met with pupils from schools around the Stroud area who have been taking part in the FRijj and Technology Challenges in the run-up to FESTOMANE.
Established in 2012 by the Stroud MP Neil Carmichael, The Stroud Festival of Manufacturing and Engineering, also known as FESTOMANE is in its third year.
The goal of FESTOMANE is to bring together young people and schools with businesses and opportunities. Local businesses, organisations collaborate with Neil Carmichael MP to create FESTOMANE each year.
