Prince William is to attend his first royal engagement since becoming a father to Prince George.
The Duke of Cambridge is to visit the Anglesey show, in Anglesey, Wales, on August 14. The new dad will meet local young farmers at the event, and will view cattle judging during his visit.
The Duke is also expected to make a short speech at the event, and will be presented with a gift before he leaves.
The engagement will mark William’s first appearance since he and wife the Duchess of Cambridge left the Lindo Wing with their newborn baby.
Last week, the couple left the hospital which Kate gave birth in, giving the world its first glimpse of the new heir to the throne. The proud parents smiled and posed with their little Prince as William revealed he had a “good pair of lungs” on him.
The Duke and Duchess have lived in Anglesey in recent years while William has completed his work as a search-and-rescue pilot in the RAF, and the royal couple have lived in a small house in the village.
The couple have been able to privately enjoy their time in Wales, and are often seen taking their dog Lupo for walks along the beach.
With William and Kate expected to take on a busier schedule in the next few years, as they increase their royal duties, the couple are to move in Kensington Palace later this year, which will become their official London residence.
