prince william in uniformPrince William, Duke of Cambridge will undertake joint engagements with his father, The Prince of Wales, and his brother, Prince Harry, later this month.

The 30-year-old father-to-be is scheduled to join The Prince of Wales on Tuesday, May 21, at St. James’s Palace State Apartments in London, for a conference to end illegal wildlife trade, St. James’s Palace announced today.

Hosted by the Prince of Wales and the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, the conference aims to “call for action at the highest levels and to form a global partnership to stop the illegal trade in wildlife,” St. James’s Palace said.

The father and son duo will be joined by Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Owen Paterson, MP, at the event.

The day before, on Monday, May 20, Prince William is set to visit the Help for Heroes Recovery Centre in Wiltshire with younger brother, Prince Harry. The event will occur days after Prince Harry’s return from a whirlwind tour of 5 US states and the District of Columbia, which starts today.

During their visit to Wiltshire, The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry will officially open four new Help for Heroes Recovery Centres and meet wounded service personnel, veterans and their families.

The engagements reflect father and sons’ shared charitable interests in supporting conservation, young people, and military personnel. Brothers William and Harry primarily work through The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry to support these causes.

Recently, the royal brothers joined forces to officially open the Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden, the set of the famous Harry Potter films. They were accompanied by Prince William’s pregnant wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

Also this month, on May 24, Prince William is scheduled to attend the XXXVII Ordinary UEFA Congress at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London. As President of the Football Association, he will deliver a speech and join in the celebration of The Football Association’s 150th anniversary.
