The royal baby might not be born yet but that hasn’t stopped him or her from receiving a few gifts.

Paul Mealor, royal wedding composer, has written a lullaby for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.  The song, reportedly titled “Sleep On,” will be sung by Hayley Westenra and featured on her new album of lullabies called “Hushabye.”

This isn’t Mealor’s first musical encounter with the royal couple.  In 2011, his motet, Ubi Caritas et Amor, debuted at the wedding of the Duke and Duchess in Westminster Abbey.  Mealor, an Anglesey native, told the British press, “After writing music for the royal wedding, it seemed natural to provide the musical accompaniment for the next stage of the royal couple’s journey together.”

Westenra’s album “Hushabye,” which is dedicated to the baby, will be released in June.
