Duchess of Sussex in Ralph Lauren for Prince Louis’s christening

The Duchess of Sussex attended the christening of her new nephew Prince Louis this afternoon in a belted olive green Ralph Lauren dress and hat by Stephen Jones.

Accompanied by her husband, Meghan stunned in a green hat and dress, and according to the team at Meghan’s Mirror, wore since-sold out heels by Manolo Blahnik. The dress was belted and featured a boat-neck neckline, a favourite silhouette of the Duchess’s. Meghan’s hat featured a wide brim and a bow silhouette at its base.

It was the first time Meghan has attended a royal family event like this, having become an aunt to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in May.

Meghan has frequently turned to Clare Waight Keller of Givenchy, her wedding dress designer, for bespoke pieces since joining the Royal Family – much like Kate with Alexander McQueen. This is the first time Meghan has worn American designer Ralph Lauren in an official capacity.

Stephen Jones is a celebrated milliner who has previously designed hats for Diana, Princess of Wales.

Tomorrow, Meghan and Harry join the Royal Family for a service commemorating the centenary of the Royal Air Force before jetting off on a two-day visit to Ireland.
