Kensington Palace has announced the name of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s third child four days after he was introduced to the world.
The new royal baby is called Louis Arthur Charles.
He will be known as Prince Louis of Cambridge.
The news was announced this morning in a press release from Kensington Palace which read: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son Louis Arthur Charles.
“The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge.”
Louis is known to be a favourite name of the Cambridge family. It is both George and William’s middle name. His middle name Charles, of course, comes from his paternal grandfather, The Prince of Wales.
