A look at some royal items available in our auction for True Patriot Love

The Invictus Games have come and gone, yet the impression they have left on us will be everlasting. The Games are so much more than a competition; they are about a new lease on life after being dealt the worst hand. These men and women are the definitions of bravery.

Royal Central is proud to be hosting an online auction in support of True Patriot Love. It runs until 23 October with an array of rare royal and non-royal items up for grabs. Many of these pieces are those that royal watchers have or want to have in their collection of royal memorabilia. Other items are ones for those who love sports – like a signed baseball by Roberto Osuna of the Toronto Blue Jaystickets to the Hockey Hall of Fame – or those who enjoy a good wine tasting with Southbrook Vineyards offering a private wine and food tasting!

Some of the items featured include an autographed copy of Victoria Arbiter’s Queen Elizabeth II for Pocket Giants. Arbiter is a well-known royal commentator who grew up close to the British Royal Family and lived in Kensington Palace during her teen years. Her father, Dickie Arbiter, was a former press secretary for Her Majesty The Queen and media manager for Prince Charles and Diana, Princess of Wales.

The auction also includes a Royal Daulton Catherine and Kate Figurine Set and a Royal Daulton Figurine “Evening Elegance”.

There is also a 2011 Royal Wedding 9.9 Fine Silver Coin with a blue Swarovski element shown in our featured image. One side of the coin features the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the other Her Majesty The Queen.

Additionally, there is a 9.9 Fine Silver 5-Dollars ‘Diana England’s Rose’ Heart Shaped Coin which includes a picture of Diana and a pink rose on the front. Her Majesty features on the back. The coin was part of a limited edition released in 2007.

Royal author and historian Carolyn Harris donated a signed book package to our auction featuring her books: Magna Carta and It’s Gifts to Canada and Raising Royalty.

You can also bid on a Limited Edition RCM-2017 Silver Dollar Proof Set Canada 150. These coins were made in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Canadian Confederation.

Royal Wedding coin and folio of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is also up for grabs from the Royal Canadian Mint in 2011.

Have you ever wanted a best-selling author to name a character after you in their next book? Now is your chance by placing a bid to have mystery author Owen Laukkanen name a character after you! He’s written numerous novels including The ProfessionalsKill Fee and The Watcher in the Wall.

There’s also a chance to get your hands on a limited edition RCM 9.9 Fine Silver Coin The Commanding Canadian Lynx with COA. This was released in 2016 and features a coloured picture of the lynx on the coin.

Royal Central is honoured to be holding this online auction in support of the official charity partner of the Invictus Games Toronto 2017, and the organisation that initially secured the bid to bring the Games to Toronto. True Patriot Love continues to stay closely connected to the Games and is committed to ensuring that our brave service men and women continue to receive the essential support they need long after the Games have come and gone.

The auction features a range of items from jewellery, to unique experiences, to royalty related items that will continually be updated until the auction closes. We thank all AGFI for helping us out and all the other donations given.

Secure your bids in the coming days with the proceeds going to help our soldiers who put their lives on the line so that we may be free!

Check out the auction here; you have until 23 October to secure your favourite items!
