Prince Philip usually stays on at the estate until later than the Queen as he likes to continue hunting game on the estate. Yesterday at Buckingham Palace, the Queen received an ambassador for the Netherlands.
The official extract from the court circular yesterday read:

It is back to work for Her Majesty over the coming months now, bar for Easter which she stays at Windsor Castle for a week or so. Today she holds an investiture ceremony for Olympic/Paralympic medal winners to receive their honours. Her next official engagement then is the opening of the new Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel Road, London on 27th February, before retiring to Windsor shortly before or after that.
Then, next month’s royal excitement begins with a trip to Rome for two days with the Duke Of Edinburgh.
From thereon in, royal engagements carry on full swing as she enters the busiest time of the year including the Royal Maundy service on 28th March, Chelsea Flower Show on 20th May, Westminster Abbey Coronation service on 3rd June and Trooping The Colour on 15th June.
