On their final day in Wales, the Prince and Princess of Wales paid a visit to the solemn memorial at Aberfan. The royal couple arrived at the Aberfan Memorial Garden with a wreath bearing their names and the message “In lasting memory” written in both English and Welsh. The latest tribute to Queen Elizabeth II is brought to a close with poignant image

Getty Images’ royal photographer Chris Jackson was once again behind the lens to capture history being made. On Sunday, 2 April, Buckingham Palace released a picture taken by Mr Jackson that marks the end of the Queen’s Green Canopy initiative.
