The Princess Royal

The Princess Royal carries out the most engagements this week.

West Yorkshire welcomes Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal on Tuesday. The Princess is visiting Leeds Metropolitan University, where, as Patron of the College of Occupational Therapists, Her Royal Highness is attending the MSc Occupational Therapy and MSc Physiotherapy End of Course Conference. Also in Leeds, Princess Anne is attending an event to mark the 30th Anniversary of Sports Coach UK, an organisation that works in partnership with sporting bodies in the United Kingdom to recruit and develop coaches. In Shipley, The Princess Royal is touring local businesses Manor Coating Systems and Saltaire Micro Brewery.

Wednesday 15th January

Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex is visiting Surrey on Wednesday to see 7th Frimley Brownies group. The Countess is President of Girlguiding in the UK.

The Princess Royal is in Hereford on Wednesday. Her Royal Highness is opening the town’s Livestock Market and, as President of the Carers Trust, is attending a showcase of Herefordshire Carers Support and Family Drug Support. The Princess is also visiting West Mercia Women’s Aid and West Mercia Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre. Later on Wednesday, Her Royal Highness will travel to London to attend an event for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.

Thursday 16th January

His Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex is in London on Thursday. The Earl is attending the Worshipful Company of Gardeners’ Committee Day at Guildhall, Gresham Street.

The Princess Royal is visiting Brighton on Thursday. Her Royal Highness is opening The City and Guilds of London Institute’s Kineo Office and visiting the Brighton and Hove Carers Centre to celebrate their 25th Anniversary

Friday 17th January

On Friday, Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra is attending an event at Kensington Roof Gardens for the Perennial Gardeners’ Royal Benevolent Society.  The Princess is Patron of the charity, which supports people who work in horticulture and their families in times of need.
