Prince Harry visited the Moseley Oak rugby club as part of Sky Sports series School of Hard Knocks.
Prince Harry visited the Billesley Common with former rugby stars Will Greenwood and Scott Quinnell for Sky Sports reality show School of Hard Knocks on Wednesday.
Moseley Oak rugby club welcomed Harry who stopped by Billesley Common to check out for a second team game. Today’s visit was not just to watch a match as the Billesley based Minnows were filming Sky Sport’s reality show School of Hard Knocks series finale.
Harry spent a few hours at the club as the School of Hard Knocks team, coached by British Lions Will Greenwood and Scott Quinnell played a Moseley Oak club.
A keen lover of sport, Harry watched the entire match and was invited into the team huddle after the final whistle. Post-match he met with the players in their changing room.
The programme will air in September. For the past seven weeks, a group of men who have faced some life challenges were put together not only to play rugby but to help build and develop their life chances.
The series ends when the group plays a regular rugby team and attends a job fair. The goal is to find employment for this group of men and offer them a second chance. The show has been successful in the past in London and Glasgow.
Prince Harry is a keen rugby fan who most recently attended the Six Nations rugby match earlier this month cheering on England as they took on Wales.
