Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece shares Swedish Wedding snaps on Instagram

On Saturday, royals from around the world arrived in Sweden ahead of the wedding of Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill.

“Arriving Stockholm!”

Madeleine of Sweden, fourth-in-line for the Swedish throne, married her US Banker Chris O’Neill in a lavish ceremony at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.

Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece shared intimate pictures of the special day on her instagram page.

The Princess, who is married to Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece shared several snaps of her trip, from flying into Sweden to the beautiful scene ahead of the nuptials.

One of the first snaps to be posted showed the Princess on a private jet on her way to Stockholm. The Princess was joined be designer Valentino, who designed Madeleine’s sensational gown and Giancarlo Giammetti, who is president of the fashion house.

Marie-Chantal, who is also a designer, could hardly contain her excitement uploading the picture with the fashionable pair as she posted the snap with the caption “Arriving Stockholm!”.

The royal, who lives in London with husband Pavlos, then shared a snap of the view from her hotel room, appearing pleased with the magnificent setting saying “Beautiful evening Stockholm”.

On Friday evening, the royal guests were treated to a pre-wedding dinner hosted by King Gustaf ahead of Saturday’s glorious occasion.

Marie-Chantal gave her followers a sneak peak of her beautiful outfit. The Princess headed to the pre-wedding dinner in a Oscar de la Renta dress. Captioning the image as “Ready”, the picture shows the Princess’s grand hotel room.

One of the final images the Greek royal posted was one of the three Princes of Greece, posting the image with the cheeky caption “The gorgeous Greeks and mine’s in the middle”.
