Despite the Duchess of Cambridge’s ever increasing popularity, the names ‘Catherine’ or ‘Kate’ were not featured on the list at all.The most popular girls name was tied between Charlotte and Isabella.
It seems to become a trend that when a famous baby is born, his or her name sparks in popularity. For example, David Cameron had a baby girl in 2010 called Florence; in 2012 this was the most popular girls name.
