The Paris Marathon
The Prince’s Trust is currently recruiting runners to join Team Prince’s Trust to help raise money and awareness for underprivileged youth at the next Paris Marathon.
The Trust has a long history of supporting and motivating disadvantaged young people by offering programmes so to develop their education and skills, and find employment. Now one of The Prince of Wales’ most notable charities is offering an incentive for runners to make a difference to young peoples’ lives by sponsoring and joining the Team Prince’s Trust’s team.
According to the official website of The Prince’s Trust, funds of £60 million are needed this year to continue their hard work. By creating Team Prince’s Trust for the Paris Marathon the charity will be closer to achieving this goal. A fundraising commitment from interested runners is £1,000. Information and support from The Trust is given to team members to help them reach their fundraising goal.
Declared by Runner’s World as one of the ‘Top Ten Marathons in the World’, The Paris Marathon attracts tens of thousands of athletes from all over the globe for the challenge, prestige, and sights that running the marathon has to offer.
The Paris Marathon is exceptionally esteemed by runners. The beauty of Paris in springtime makes it a popular season for visitors and athletes alike. The Paris Marathon offers spectacular views of the city, with Runner’s World describing it as “squeezing just about everything the city has to offer into this 42km loop of the city.” 38,690 people finished the race in 2013, making it the second largest marathon of the year.
The race will be held on 6th April in Paris, France. The cost of registering is £100. Interested participants can contact The Trust for more information by phone at 020 7543 1370, or by email at email@example.com
