The Palace Review: Week of 20th October

Monday 20th October

The Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel, Grenadier Guards, will chair the Regimental Council Meeting at Buckingham Palace.

The Earl of Wessex will attend Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms’ Dinner at St. James’s Palace.

The Duke of Kent will attend a Service to commemorate 300 years since Hanoverian succession at St Martin in the Fields, Trafalgar Square in London.

Tuesday 21st October

The Queen & The Duke of Edinburgh (21st-23rd October) will host The President of the Republic of Singapore and Mrs. Mary Tan as they pay a State Visit to the United Kingdom and stay at Buckingham Palace.

The Countess of Wessex will unveil a tribute to the Women’s Land Army and the Women’s Timber Corps at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire. The Countess will also visit the Centre for Burns Research at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in the West Midlands.

The Princess Royal, President, Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth, will visit Australia.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Army Families Federation, will attend the AFF Families Conference at the Institute of Education, University of London in London.

Wednesday 22nd October

The Duke of Edinburgh, Admiral and Member, will attend the Royal Yacht Squadron Yeomans reunion dinner at The Royal Thames Yacht Club in London.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, will visit The David Lewis Centre in Cheshire.

Whilst in Cheshire, The Countess, President, Brainwave, will visit Brainwave North West, North West Centre and the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Peace Centre.

The Princess Royal, President, Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth, will visit Australia.

Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy, President, The Royal Star and Garter Homes, will visit the new Administration Offices at 15 Castle Mews in Middlesex.

Thursday, 23rd October

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, will attend Receptions at St. James’s Palace for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

The Princess Royal continues her visit to Australia. Princess Anne’s visit is in her role as Colonel in Chief, Royal Australian Corps of Transport, Patron, Riding for the Disabled Association of Australia, President, Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth and President, Save the Children UK.

The Duke of Gloucester, Honorary President, the Somme Association, will attend a Luncheon at the Residence of the Turkish Ambassador in London.

The Duke of Kent will visit Pearson Engineering Limited, Newcastle upon Tyne in Tyne and Wear. A busy day will see The Duke will visit Siemens, attend the re dedication of the relocated Readhead Memorial to South Shields and visit Nano Porous Solutions Limited.

Friday 24th October

The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, will open the Information Age Galleries at the Science Museum in London.

The Princess Royal continues her visit to Australia in her role as President, Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth.

The Duke of Gloucester will attend a performance of ‘The Mikado’ for the Windsor and Eton Operatic Society at the Farrer Theatre, Eton College in Berkshire.

Saturday 25th October

The Princess Royal, President, Emerging Pacific Leaders’ Dialogue, will visit the Republic of Vanuatu.

Sunday 26th October

The Princess Royal, President, Emerging Pacific Leaders’ Dialogue, will visit the Republic of Vanuatu.
